Shadowy operators Blip! (Kubex & Dot9) have been working away on the underbelly of the Leeds electronic scene for a good few years now. This, their first release, is a collection of work recorded between 2001 and 2007.

Influenced by the sound of old 8bit computers, sampling culture, circuit bent experimentation and the rave scene (to name a few) Blip! utilise all kinds of gear, new and decrepit, to achieve their sound.

Look out for new Blip! work coming to Dead Channel in the future, as well as a live set that we hear is in the pipeline. We’ll be sure to bring you more, the next time they emerge from the dark..
